Luna Chix and Maxxis have a strong chance of three riders riding on the Olympic cross country course in Athens. They also have one of the most experienced rosters in women’s mountain biking. Maxxis discussed the possibility of Dunlap testing a signature tire for her 2004 Olympic bid.

Dunlap’s excitement at the news was evident when Dunlap was asked about the new deal. I’m thrilled to be riding the same tires that brought me to my first World Championship win last year. Maxxis is an excellent company. They take rider feedback seriously and use it to improve their products. She reported that she is looking forward to next year, and hopefully returning a medal from Athens 2004 with Maxxis tires.
